Easy to grab tickets

Decided last minute to go, so I grabbed a Friday Adult Day Ticket. The site was easy to navigate on my laptop. Didn't have any trouble finding the ticket and checking out. Got the email with the ticket link pretty fast. No dramas, just clicked, bought, and was sorted. Happy with how simple it all was.

Smooth process, good festival

I purchased a Full Weekend Pass and a Car Parking Pass for Chilfest. The ordering process online was straightforward; found what I needed easily. The confirmation came through instantly. Received the e-tickets a few days later, no issues there. Didn't need customer support this time around, which is always a plus. The festival itself was well organized, and having the parking pass sorted beforehand made arrival much less stressful. Overall, a solid experience from purchase to event entry.

Good value, minor glitch

Got the Family Ticket Bundle and a couple of Reusable Cups. The bundle saved us some money, which was nice. The purchase was easy enough, but the website was a little slow to load on my phone during checkout. Everything eventually went through, and the tickets arrived fine. Delivery was quick, and we had no trouble getting in. Customer service wasn't needed, so can't comment there. Overall, I'd say it was a good experience for the price.

Great savings on tickets

I was looking for the best deal for Chilfest and found the Full Weekend Pass offered a good saving compared to buying individual day tickets. Plus, I signed up for the newsletter and got an early bird discount, which made it even better. Felt like I got great value for my money. The process was simple, and the tickets landed in my inbox as expected. Definitely worth it.

Compared to something like Rewind Festival, how does Chilfest stack up? Similar vibe or different?

S Sarah F. 1 month ago
Chilfest is a bit smaller and more 'boutique' than Rewind, I'd say. Still great acts but feels less commercial, more local.

D Dana 1 month ago
Rewind is huge, Chilfest feels more intimate. Same kind of music though, 80s/90s nostalgia. I prefer Chilfest for the vibe.

Can you bring your own food and drinks in, or are they strict about buying everything inside?

N Nick 2 months ago
They're usually pretty strict about outside food/drink, especially alcohol. Water bottles might be okay, but expect to buy most stuff there.

E Elena Osei 2 months ago
Nah, they don't let you bring much in. Best to just plan on getting your food and drinks from the vendors. They have quite a few options.

Does Chilfest offer any sort of NHS or Blue Light Card discount? My wife works for the NHS.

T Troy 2 months ago
I'm pretty sure they do! I saw something about it last year. Check their site, but yeah, pretty common for festivals now.

M Mia 2 months ago
Yep, they usually have something for NHS/Blue Light. I think you have to apply for it though, not just a simple code at checkout.

Hey guys, thinking of going to Chilfest this year. Do they usually have any kind of discount codes floating around or is it mostly just buying early?

N Noor L. 2 months ago
Nah, honestly, discount codes are super rare. Your best bet is always the early bird tickets. They go fast though.

G Greg Vargas 2 months ago
I signed up for their newsletter a while back and got a small code once, but yeah, mostly it's about snagging those early bird prices. That's where the real savings are.

Thinking of bringing the kids, is Chilfest actually a good family vibe or more of a party scene?

P Phil Silva 1 month ago
It's definitely family-friendly during the day, lots of space and people bring their little ones. The evenings get a bit more lively but still fine.

Yeah, tons of families go. My kids loved it last year, especially with all the 80s music. Plenty of room for them to run around.

Is parking a nightmare there? Should I just get the shuttle bus instead of trying to drive?

J Josh D. 1 month ago
Parking isn't too bad if you get there early, but you definitely need a parking pass. The shuttle bus from town is pretty convenient though.

I'd recommend the shuttle bus if you're staying locally. Driving can be a bit of a faff, especially leaving at the end of the night.

Is it worth getting the VIP tickets? What do you actually get with those, like is it just better toilets or more?

D Derek Vargas 2 months ago
The VIP section is pretty sweet, separate bar and nicer loos for sure. Plus usually a good view of the stage without being jammed in.

R Renee T. 2 months ago
I did VIP last year, honestly, the premium toilets alone made it worth it for me. No queues! And the food options were better too.

How does buying tickets work, like once I buy them online, do they mail them out or is it all e-tickets for scanning?

A Alex Foster 2 months ago
It's all e-tickets usually, they'll send them to your email and you just show the QR code on your phone at the gate. Super easy.
3
S Sam Z. 2 months ago
Yeah, no physical tickets these days, it's all digital. Just make sure you save them to your phone or print them out as a backup.
